Corporate Social Responsibility: Sustainability

What are your and your firm’s obligations to future generations?

What are we each entitled to inherit from previous generations?  How can we have a productive economy and ensure individuals are fairly rewarded whilst protecting the environment? How can we build businesses, an economy and a way of life which ensures your family, your firm, your nation and humankind survive and flourish into the far future?

First the ethical theory underpinning sustainability is outlined. Then the implications for day to day business practice are discussed.

No prior knowledge is required for this philosophy course. It will appeal to all who are willing to think deeply and rationally in order to develop new solutions to the pressing problems facing business today.
