To lead internal HR and wellbeing activities for Ethical Reading, including contributing to the Wellbeing Programme and leading various internal HR and wellbeing projects, as well as involvement in wellbeing initiatives for the wider local community.
At Ethical Reading, we believe that all everyone has the right to be treated with respect, fairness and compassion at work. Research shows that if they are treated in this way, they feel better, are healthier and enjoy their work more.
This role will provide support the People and Culture director in leading the internal HR and Wellbeing function. The lead will also be involved in the external facing Wellbeing programme and initiatives.
The work will include the following activities:
Volunteering with Ethical Reading is a great opportunity for you to make a positive impact locally and support our work across our programmes and initiatives such as Trees for Reading and Ethics in Education. It’s also a chance to apply and enhance skills if you are relatively new into the workface or have taken a break from working and want to return at some point. We currently have around 20 volunteers with a broad range of backgrounds and experience.
