Introducing our roles

We rely heavily on volunteers who generously give their time to support our activities. As you can see from the volunteers page, our volunteers are very diverse in terms of age, gender and backgrounds. They are share a common passion for the aims of Ethical Reading, whether it be in the areas of sustainability, wellbeing or broader business ethics. 

We do require that your are comfortable using office IT tools such as Microsoft Office, email and online meeting software such as MS Teams or Zoom. As a volunteer we are looking for you to contribute at least 4 hours per week. 

Don’t worry if any of the roles below don’t quite match your skills. Do get in touch and we will be happy to chat through how we can work together.

Roles available

We’re looking for one or two information technology (IT) specialist volunteers to support the work of Ethical Reading. We have a broad set of programmes and initiatives, over 20 volunteers and use a wide range of software systems.

Ethical Reading is a Community Interest Company whose mission is to encourage and embed ethical behaviours inside organisations. We are looking for several volunteers across our programmes to support the work we do.

We are looking for seasoned, hands-on, dynamic senior leaders who are passionate about the role of ethics in business and broader society and wants to make a difference locally. We are looking to extend the leadership team and are seeking people interested in becoming a Board Director to help us grow and develop to the next stage.

To lead internal HR and wellbeing activities for Ethical Reading, including contributing to the Wellbeing Programme and leading various internal HR and wellbeing projects, as well as involvement in wellbeing initiatives for the wider local community.
